Moments in the film showcase MJ in a manner never before seen by the public. This film answers many questions about MJ's creativity as a performer and clears up any preconceived notions about his ability and/or health to perform.
MJ's passion for music and dance is evident throughout the entire film. MJ does not hesitate to stop the performance to instruct his bassist to make the bass line "funkier" or to say to his drummer, "Wait! Let it simmer; you got to let it simmer." This rehearsal footage shows a flawless MJ keeping up with much younger dancers. Actually, the dancers, at times, struggle to keep up with MJ.
Earning well over 100 million, Michael Jackson: This Is It topped the box office in its first weekend. The success of the film has led to an extended release beyond the original two weeks previously set. Don't let the success fool you though; if you are not a diehard MJ fan, I suggest you wait for the DVD.

MJ is the best... this film is an amazing look inside the king of pop. it's a shame that now after death those that persecuted him are coming out to say they were wrong and lied. (Continued…)
