Get a VIA Semester
Pass for just $35.
The VIA Semester Pass is one wise investment. It gives you 5 months of unlimited rides – to school, library, movies, anywhere. To buy your Semester Pass, all you need is a school photo ID and proof of current registration. College and University students also need proof of paid tuition. Elementary, middle and high school students can get the required forms through their school office. No ID? Get one at the VIA Metro for just $2. ACCD and UTSA college students get passes at your Bursar’s Office. Others, get them at any VIA Information Center.

Don’t ride enough to need a Semester Pass. See if you qualify for a free Student Reduced Fare Card. It lets you use our half-price ($15) monthly Big Pass or pay half fare each time you board, including VIA’s Special Event Park & Ride service. Ask your school administrator or Bursar’s Office for the necessary forms. VIA School Cards are not required when buying discounted passes, but must be shown when boarding the bus. Half-price monthly Big Passes can be purchased at any VIA Information Center.
