On Veterans Day, Phi Theta Kappa planted three trees on the north side of the new academic instruction center to honor veterans of the U.S. armed forces.
"It's important to honor them because they risked their lives to give us the life that we enjoy now," said music freshman Ashlee Rose, who sang the national anthem at the ceremony.
