In just five weeks this summer, contractors worked their way down, several floors at a time, to remodel 60 rooms and the Tea Room in six-story Lightner Hall and 106 rooms in eight-story Thomas Hall in Phase 2 of construction.

Aramark and Physical Plant have both taken drastic measures in the past year to work toward sustainability on Trinity Campus, especially through recycling programs.

This summer, Physical Plant streamlined the process for the collection and recycling of paper, plastic and cardboard on the Trinity Campus, and Aramark has become 100 percent polystyrene free and will soon begin to use composters and to grow an herb garden.
